Long Beach Residential Dev Moves Forward

Aliso Viejo, CA-based LMC, a Lennar Company, began site work on Oceanaire, a 7-story, 216-unit multifamily development planned on Long Beach’s Ocean Blvd. The project is being built on a vacant urban site that offers a short walk to the downtown district on Pine Ave., as well as waterfront retail, entertainment and recreational amenities.

Among the planned amenities include a third floor pool terrace with ocean views, resort seating, sun deck, outdoor clubhouse, fitness/yoga studio and a dog spa/daycare facility. The project is slated for completion in 2018.

Togawa Smith Martin’s design features a large, defining north-south portal, providing shore views and an improved public pedestrian connection. The project, which fronts Ocean Blvd., includes multipurpose green space, as well as performance space and an art gallery.
