Longfellow Real Estate Partners acquired Creekside, a three-building, 124,473-square-foot office project in San Diego’s Sorrento Valley. The campus is centrally located within Longfellow’s growing cluster of life science projects in the region and is part of the developer’s SOVA Science DistrictTM campus.
With plans to immediately convert 60,000 square feet of existing vacancy and eventually transition the entire campus into state-of-the-art lab space, Longfellow’s Creekside acquisition will enable the company to expand its topline offerings for life science tenants. Creekside is located at 10220, 10240, 10260 Sorrento Valley Rd.
The purchase marks the firm’s second acquisition in San Diego this year amid challenging market conditions and its fifth since entering the market in late 2018. The new campus brings Longfellow’s San Diego portfolio to over 660,000 square feet spanning 23 buildings in the Sorrento Valley and Sorrento Mesa submarkets.
CBRE’s Louay Alsadek and Hunter Rowe, along with NKF’s Chris High and Steve Bruce assisted with the transaction. NKF will continue to represent Creekside as leasing agent for Longfellow.
