Ludeman Assumes Additional Duties at CBRE

In a move to capture a larger share of big office asset sales, CBRE Group, Inc. is shifting additional responsibilities to Christopher Ludeman. In addition to serving as Global President of Capital Markets, Ludeman is also assuming the reins of the Los Angeles-based firm’s U.S. office sales group.

That involves leading CBRE’s nearly 200 U.S. institutional office brokers, following a two-year search. Since 2013, Ludeman has overseen CBRE’s investor advisory business that encompasses equity sales, debt and structured finance, as well as investment banking.

Ludeman began his CRE career in 1980 at CBRE. Since then, he’s held various senior management roles including heading up its brokerage, transaction management and global corporate service business lines. Earlier in his career, Ludeman served in several regional and local market leadership roles.
