On Friday, May 5th, Macklowe Properties celebrated the topping out of 200 E. 59th St., a new luxury condominium tower set on the border between Midtown and the Upper East Side.
Harry Macklowe joined Gilbane Construction, architects CetraRuddy and the workers who are building the tower.
Every home is a corner unit at the new 35-story, 67-unit tower, and each features what the developer calls “strikingly large terraces,” an unusual amenity for Manhattan. Sales seem to be going well, with 18 sales listed on StreetEasy.com, averaging $2,700 per square foot and $3.9 million per unit.
