MacDonald Realty Group officially ended its hold on a three-asset, 532-unit multifamily portfolio in Tarrant County, TX, selling the properties to three separate investment groups. Marcus & Millichap’s Al Silva represented the Dallas-based seller in the following sales:
- The 228-unit Aspen Woods, 2910 S. Collins in Arlington, sold to Peak Capital. The property has been renamed District on Collins.
- The 168-unit Rochester, 2604 Furrs St. in Arlington, sold to Madera Residential.
- The 136-unit Cobble Hill, 6050 Oakland Hills Dr. in Fort Worth, sold to Obsidian Capital.
All three apartments traded hands as value-add plays, attracted multiple offers from buyers nationwide, and closed within 30 days of one another. They will all undergo multimillion-dollar renovations to common areas, building exteriors and unit interiors.
