The Manchester Grand Hyatt in downtown San Diego recently underwent a sky high, multi-million-dollar renovation to capitalize on the hotel’s panoramic views of San Diego Bay.
The work focused on Top of the Hyatt, a restaurant and lounge on the hotel’s 40th floor. Improvements include new lounge seating, high bar tables, softer lighting, and a more distinctive coloring scheme. Design firm Forrest Perkins headed up the modernization.
The Manchester Grand Hyatt, with its 1,628 rooms, is San Diego’s largest hotel. It is owned by Maryland-based Host Hotels & Resorts.
