A partnership between Portland, OR-based ScanlanKemperBard (SKB) and New York-based Angelo, Gordon & Co. acquired the 103,000-square-foot Belvedere Place in Marin County, CA from San Francisco-based Bently Holdings for $46.75 million.

SKB’s John Olivier says, “Belvedere Place perfectly complements our Novato office complex, Hamilton Landing. We now hold both Southern and Northern Marin’s most prestigious properties where we can best support cutting-edge companies.”

Constructed in 2000, the 60%-leased, Class A property is Southern Marin’s newest office building featuring creative space with exposed ceilings, operable windows, a Zen garden and covered parking. The new owners plan updates to building exteriors, augmenting the landscaping with outdoor shared gathering spaces, and constructing a gym complete with showers, lockers, bike lockers and bike storage.

Newmark Cornish & Carey Haden Ongaro, Mac Cranford and Mark Carrington represented both parties in the sale.
