Seven-time winner Mary Ann Tighe of CBRE (at left) took home an eighth REBNY Sales Brokers Most Ingenious Deal of the Year Award at this year’s 74th annual ceremony on Tuesday evening. Tighe and her CBRE colleague Ken Meyerson, along with Cushman & Wakefield’s Jonathan Serko, won the Real Estate Board of New York’s first-prize Henry Hart Rice Award for finding a single home for the country’s largest healthcare union and its fund.
The 2017 Robert T. Lawrence Memorial Award was presented to Cushman & Wakefield’s Mark Weiss and Richard Bernstein for repurposing a 67,000-square-foot commercial condominium spanning four floors at the base of a 43-story luxury apartment building, to create a compelling value proposition for purchaser Touro College.
NKF’s Geoffrey Newman took home the third-prize Edward S. Gordon Memorial Award for “Assembling An Icon—How One Broker’s Tenacity and Vision Made 45 East 22nd Street Possible.”
