Twitter placed 183,642 square feet of space at its San Francisco HQ on the sublease market. The struggling social media platform reportedly listed nearly 79,000 square feet at 1355 Market St. and three spaces totaling nearly 105,000 square feet at One 10th St.
More than 1,400 work stations are within the spaces. This currently ranks as the single largest sublease available in The City.
The company says it is continually seeking the best ways to “efficiently and effectively” utilize its space, though noted it remains committed to the Mid-Market area. Twitter’s struggles include laying off 336 employees last year, and the latest sublease listing points to slower immediate growth.
Cresa’s Christina Clark, Craig Zodikoff, Jamie Saunders and Erik Carlson are handling the sublease space on behalf of Twitter.
