McDonald’s Nabs Downtown Escondido Restaurant Property

Lee & Associates completed the more than $4-million sale of a McDonald’s property located in Escondido, CA to the McDonald’s Corp. The property consists of a 4,180-square-foot building that was rebuilt in 2014 to the most current McDonald’s corporate façade, and includes a double drive-thru lane.

In 2011, McDonald’s renewed its lease for an additional 20 years, and subsequently exercised a two-year option to extend the lease through August of 2033.

“McDonald’s has enjoyed more than 50 years of success at this location, and this acquisition confirms their long term commitment to the property,” said Lee & Associates’ Al Apuzzo, who along with Ryan Barr and Ryan Bennett, represented the seller, RIL Capital Assets, LP.

The site is located on the signalized hard corner of Easy Valley Parkway and North Ash Street, near local interstates, and within the core retail business district of downtown Escondido.
