Adam Hakim and James Murad (above right and left), lately of Eastern Consolidated, have joined Meridian Capital Group to focus on debt for acquisition, construction and repositioning transactions. They’re coming into Meridian as senior managing director and SVP, respectively. Andrew Iadeluca, who worked with the duo at Eastern, is joining as a director.
Hakim and Murad have closed more than $10 billion in transactions across all property types during their careers. The duo first worked together at GCP Capital Group in 2012 and then joined Eastern, which ceased operations last month, in July. Iadeluca has also worked with the duo for several years.
“We join Meridian at a terrific time in the firm’s history, as well as at a critical moment in the debt capital markets arena,” said Hakim. “James and I are excited to combine our deep borrower and lender relationships with everything that the Meridian platform has to offer.”
