Some of the biggest retail brands in the world are resonating with Millennials, meaning they must be doing something right. Research firm Mossylvania recently did a survey on the most recognizable brands for this age group, and the results were more mainstream then one might think.
The number one brand turned out to be Nike, which obviously sells its products through many different channels but has its own flagship stores. The number-two retailer was Apple, which has stores that reportedly have the highest sales per square foot of any large chain.
Third on the retail front was Target and it’s mass-merchandise units. Macy’s was the next with a major store presence, and rounding out the top five with several units was McDonald’s.
