Mira Acquires Land for New Wine Facility

Mira Winery acquired 10.5 acres of Napa Valley vineyard land south of Yountville, CA from developer James Keller, and plans to break ground on a new state-of-the-art winery in summer 2017. The fully-entitled property, at 6170 Washington St., has rare frontage along SH 29, and will house winery operations and a tasting room.

The property rests in the shadow of Wappo Hill, and will also include a production facility, a hospitality building and a covered crush pad. Currently, Mira has vineyard blocks in vineyards across Napa Valley.

Launched in 2012 by Jim “Bear” Dyke and winemaker Gustavo Gonzalez, Mira is a boutique winery producing a broad portfolio of critically-acclaimed, predominately single-vineyard Napa Valley wines distributed in 18 states. “Once complete, our world-class facility will combine the quality that reviewers and wine connoisseurs alike have discovered, with a unique experience for visitors and natural beauty that only the Napa Valley can provide,” Dyke said.
