Marcus & Millichap arranged the sale of 5256 W. North Ave., a 14,000-square foot mixed-use property in the West Side’s North Austin neighborhood. The asset sold for $1,125,000.

James Ziegler and Keith Zelenika, investment specialists in Marcus & Millichap’s Chicago Downtown office, marketed the property on behalf of the seller, a private investor. The buyer, a private investor, was secured and also represented by Ziegler and Zelenika,

The property is a very well-maintained 18-unit mixed-use property that was constructed in 1927. The unit mix consists of three first floor commercial spaces, eight one-bedroom/one-bathroom units and seven two-bedroom/one-bathroom units. The apartments have been renovated over the past five years.
