Miami Beach-based Turnbridge Equities and Austin local developers Clark Lyda and Austin Pfiester commenced construction on Music Lane, a $55-million mixed-use development in Austin, TX. The three-building project is planned to include 163,000 square feet of retail, office and restaurant space, as well as four levels of subterranean parking.
The industrial or factory themed project is envisioned to include buildings three to four stories tall on a 1.5-acre site at 1011 to 1123 South Congress Ave. A quarter-acre ground lease parcel at 1009 South Congress was recently added to the development assemblage.
Music Lane is envisioned as a community gathering spot, with pedestrian paths, green space complemented with heritage oak trees, water features and views of the Texas Capitol. The project is anticipated to deliver in spring 2019.
