Newport’s Historic Marina Lido Village Landmark Re-Designed

Order Reprints...

The re-design of Newport’s Marina Lido Village, an historic landmark in Newport Beach, is now complete. Business software company SAP now occupies space at 3366 Via Lido as its new SoCal-based Innovation Center and HanaHaus. The workspace seamlessly blends two segments – a dynamic co-working environment open to the public, and an R&D center for the company.

The building on the Newport Beach Bayfront is owned by Burnham-Ward Properties and was re-envisioned by H. Hendy Associates. The 16,000-square-foot collaborative workspace targets Orange County’s thinkers, makers and innovators, and brings an unconventional and creative workspace experience to the region. The facility is home to such notable entrepreneurs and local businesses as Red Bull, Porsche Design, Lululemon, and Drunk Elephant.

The property was initially developed as Newport Balboa Savings Bank in the early 1950s, offering clients a yacht-in banking experience.
