Next Generation Honoree: Accelerate’s Andrew Martinez Stresses Tech-Driven Construction

For Accelerate Built Environments, operations manager Andrew Martinez leads a team of project managers and designers that integrate high-tech construction solutions into high-performance office, healthcare, and education environments. He works directly with the clients, their architecture and design teams, and construction trades to produce successful projects.

The results have included office space for Fortune 100 companies such as Discover and Caterpillar, and one of Chicago’s first immediate care clinics to use pre-fab construction methods for a major hospital system and learning environments at the University of Chicago. He’s known for handling a fast-paced, high-stress construction environment with poise and grace, and is relentless in finding solutions that are in the best interests of both the company and its customers. He leads his team by example.
