Next Generation Honoree: Acre Commercial’s Lindsay Detwiler is CRE Marketing Whiz

Lindsay Detwiler is the creative drive and operating force of ACRE Commercial in Orlando. Detwiler is the director of marketing for ACRE, the first women-owned and operated commercial real estate firm in Central Florida.

A Florida native, Detwiler has been instrumental in advancing her firm’s reach across the state. Notably, she started an initiative via social media and media outreach to increase ACRE’s visibility as the only woman-owned and operated commercial real estate firm in greater Central Florida. By reaching out to the local business journal and facilitating a full story on ACRE’s founders, the company gained name recognition in the industry and quickly acquired several new clients. Lindsay also spearheaded ACRE’s membership into the Downtown Orlando Partnership, securing the company a spot on multiple governing boards that oversee commercial growth in Orlando’s downtown.

Detwiler’s social media strategy has also been successful, with the creation of millennial-driven content focused on a new perspective of approaching commercial real estate via Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn. Her work has seen a rise in viewership of more than 7,000 individuals weekly. The firm is quick to credit her work for an increase in overall profits of 30% from 2017 to 2018.

These are just a few of the reasons we chose Detwiler to be one of the Florida region 2019 Next Generation Award Winners. Connect Media’s third annual Next Generation Awards recognize young leaders in the commercial real estate industry who are likely to be influential for years to come.
