North Wells Capital, and its affiliate Urban Innovation, Ltd., have topped out exterior construction on the redevelopment of 306 West Erie in River North. The redevelopment, which began last November, will double the building’s size and add amenities including an interior tenant lounge and game room, a rooftop terrace, tenant bike rooms, and a collaborative open lobby space.

“As companies prepare for a better tomorrow, we’re moving forward to bring a transformative workspace to Chicago’s River North neighborhood,” said North Wells CEO Jim Fox, “When businesses are ready to return to work, we are ready to welcome them.”

The 306 West Erie development team also includes NORR as architects and ARCO/Murray as general contractor. The property represents a first step in the North Wells/Urban Innovations three-building creative office development project, known collectively as Verso. Urban Innovations is the property manager for the Verso portfolio.
