Orbis Landing Launches Development Phase

Newport Beach-based Orbis Real Estate Partners began construction recently on Orbis Landing, its second project in Ontario. The three-building industrial project, located on 5.1-acres, will total 104,754 square feet and offer warehouse and distribution facilities for lease or sale to owner/user companies.

Orbis purchased the land for $3.1-million last fall from Hillwood Development and the Hofer family. Construction of the project is scheduled to be completed in 3Q 2016. The company is also developing Orbis Business Center, a 136,790-square-foot facility off Milliken Ave. in Ontario.

Irvine’s HPA Architecture is the project’s architect. Lee & Associates’ William Heim and Eloy Covarrubias represented Orbis in the land transaction, as well as handling leasing or sales for the project.
