The Palladium Residences, a two-tower project in the works adjacent to the famous Hollywood entertainment venue, was recently approved by the Los Angeles Planning Commission. Part of the project will be a renovation of the Hollywood Palladium.
The Palladium Residences, totaling two 30-story towers, is being developed by Crescent Heights and will include 731 multifamily units, as well as 14,000 square feet of ground-floor retail.
The project has been under fire from some community organizations that oppose high-density residential developments around the area who say it will destroy the “character of Hollywood”. In the coming weeks, the City Council will make their decision if the project will move forward.
