Law firm firm Perkins Coie has signed a multi-year lease for 100,000 square feet at 110 N. Wacker Dr., the 55-story West Loop tower now being developed by the Howard Hughes Corporation and Riverside Investment and Development. The Seattle-based law firm, which established a Chicago presence in 2002, will occupy three and a half floors of the building beginning in late 2021.
CBRE’s Todd Lippman, Kyle Kamin and Steve Bay represented Perkins Coie on the deal. Riverside’s Drew Nieman and CBRE’s Sara Spicklemire advised the developers.
“The sustained level of tenant interest and speed of leasing at 110 North Wacker is about as good as it gets,” said Nieman. Anchored by Bank of America, the property is nearly 60% pre-leased.
Simultaneous with making the Chicago announcement, Perkins Coie moved into a new Manhattan office. The firm now occupies 66,000 square feet at the Durst Organization’s 1155 Ave. of the Americas.
