PGA Moving HQ to North Texas, Will Anchor 600-Acre MXU

The Professional Golfers’ Association of America is relocating its headquarters from Palm Beach County, FL to Frisco, TX, where it will anchor a $520-million, 600-acre, mixed-use development. Furthermore, under an agreement with various Frisco agencies, two PGA Championships and two KPMB Women’s PGA Championships will take place in the North Texas city, as well as potentially the Ryder Cup tournament.

The headquarters and mixed-use development will be situated at Rockhill Parkway and Legacy Drive, as part of a 2,500-acre development planned by Hunt Realty Investments. The as-yet un-named development will contain the PGA of America’s $30 million, 100,000-square-foot global headquarters and education facility.

Also on the land will be two championship golf courses, a short course and practice areas, a 127,000-square-foot conference center, a 500-room Omni resort and a retail village. Additionally, the site will contain parks, open space and trails.
