The Habitat Company has begun pre-leasing for 111 apartments at The Concord at Sheridan, a mixed-use, mixed-income development at 6438 N. Sheridan Rd. in Rogers Park.
A joint venture of Three Corners Development, Iceberg Development, the Chicago Housing Authority, Lightengale Group and Cubit Development, the project is slated to open for occupancy this spring.
“Combining mixed-income housing with a mixed-use development is one of the best ways to help a community at large evolve and drive economic growth,” said Charlton Hamer of Habitat Affordable Group, which is leasing and managing the property.
Located near Loyola University Chicago’s Lake Shore Campus, the Concord at Sheridan will include 30,000 square feet of ground-floor retail, anchored by a flexible-format.
“This project brings many like-minded partners together, all with the same goal of improving the options and opportunities for more retail and housing choices within an already vibrant neighborhood,” said Three Corners’ Rob Ferrino.
