DTLA-based Primestor Development secured leasing commitments with seven anchor tenants at Amara Shopping Center, a 500,000-square-foot, 44-acre, ground-up development in Camarillo, CA. Construction on the Spanish-style architectural themed project is slated to begin later this spring, and deliver in 2018.
Combined, the transactions at the regional-scale, open air town center total 149,300 square feet, and involve tenants such as Bed Bath & Beyond, Buy Buy Baby, Cost Plus World Market, Stein Mart, TJ Maxx, HomeGoods and ULTA Beauty. The center is located along the 101 Freeway at Springville Dr., and will feature high quality amenities including a large central fountain, river, and gathering area.
Primestor’s Jennifer Meade says, “We are actively seeking both national leading retailers and unique Southern California operators to provide an exciting mix of retail, service and food and beverage experiences.”
