Prologis is moving forward on a 664,000-square-foot build-to-suit for mattress and bed manufacturer Zinus Inc. at International Park of Commerce in Tracy, CA. The 1,800-acre, fully-entitled, master-planned park is at the intersection of three freeways, Interstates 5, 205 and 580, at Promontory and Iron Horse Parkways.
Zinus, which reportedly signed a seven-year deal, will consolidate from three buildings totaling roughly 330,000 square feet in San Leandro, and expand into one larger, Western regional distribution center on 30 acres. Prologis said the facility is the permitting phase, which is expected to wrap up in the next month. The building is set to deliver in late 2017.
Newmark Cornish & Carey’s David Scarpinato and T3 Advisors’ Andrew Zink represented the tenant. Colliers International’s Michael Goldstein, Greig Lagomarsino and Greg O’Leary represented the landlord.
