Regency Plans $30M Riverstone Retail Development

Regency Centers Corp. plans to develop The Village at Riverstone, a $30.5 million, 165,000-square-foot retail center in Houston. The REIT plans to begin construction by Q1 2017, with a projected opening in spring 2018.

Located within one of the market’s fastest-growing master-planned communities, the property will feature a 100,000-square-foot Kroger, as well as national and regional retailers. The market offers high barriers to entry, superior demographics, a main and main location and a market-dominant anchor.

Regency Centers’ Abe Pacetti says, “Not only will it be a retail centerpiece for the Riverstone master-planned community, but it will draw interest from consumers beyond the typical three-mile trade area.”
