Workspace provider Regus, headquartered in the Dallas suburb of Addison, TX, launched its new U.S. franchising program. The company is looking for franchise partners to develop and manage co-working spaces, with states targeted including California, Florida, Illinois and Texas.
Regus is also looking to aggressively expand in the northeast in New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia and Washington, D.C.
“Since 2010, the flexible workspace sector has grown at an average annual rate of 25%, and by 2020, it’s estimated that 50% of all workers will be remote most of the time,” said Darin Harris with International Workplace (IGW) North America. Regis is an IWG company
Regus franchisees are required to open at least five locations over a two-to-three-year period, generally in standalone or space totaling approximately 8,000 square feet, in a town center, business park or roadside location.
