Ironbound Plaza is fully-occupied, less than a year after new owners began a full restoration and renovation of the limestone landmark at Two Ferry St., just across from Penn Station in downtown Newark, NJ.
“We recognized an excellent opportunity to reposition and repopulate a historically significant property with national tenants that truly will serve the surrounding community,” noted Richard Dunn of Paramount Assets, which bought the limestone-clad building vacant in early 2017 .
The triangle-shaped building started as a bank, and was later converted to medical offices. A 7-Eleven store will open in the “tip” of the triangle in the second-quarter of this year. A Blink Fitness will fill the rest of the space at Ironbound Plaza.
