Rice, Curtis Leave CBRE for Hughes Marino in Seattle

San Diego-based Hughes Marino’s newly-opened office in Seattle will be staffed by Owen Rice and Gavin Curtis, who join from CBRE. The pair are the first of several additions in the works, and bring decades of local market experience to the tenant rep brokerage firm.

Hughes Marino’s Jason Hughes says, “We are excited to have found such perfect team members to open an office in the fastest-growing big city in the country.”

Curtis and Rice have been partners for years, leading CBRE’s Seattle tenant advisory team.

Rice earned Washington’s office broker of the year award at 36 years old, and has been among CBRE’s top ranked leasing brokers statewide for two of the last three years. Rice has been responsible for managing more than three million square feet for Fortune 500 companies, as well as assignments for sophisticated life science and biotech tenants in the region.
