Riddell Unveils $27M Move from Elyria to North Ridgeville, OH

Riddell, manufacturer and distributor of football helmets, unveiled plans to relocate from its longtime location in Elyria, OH, to a $27 million property it will build in North Ridgeville, OH. Groundbreaking is scheduled for mid-July.

The North Ridgeville City Council and planning commission recently approved plans for 347,205-square-foot production, warehouse and office facility at 38889 Center Ridge Road. The approval also included rezoning the site from commercial use to industrial.

In a prepared statement, Riddell said it would relocate production collectible football helmets, as well as distribution of most football gear and apparel to the new facility. Additionally, Riddell’s parent company, BRG Sports, also announced it would move its consumer and distribution business from Rantoul, IL to the North Ridgeville location.
