Robert Shibuya Leads Buyout of Dallas CRE Firm

Dallas-based Mohr Partners, Inc. agreed to sell the CRE advisory firm to a management group led by its current president Robert Shibuya. The former Cushman & Wakefield DTZ senior leader is taking over as chairman and CEO of the 31-year-old company from the founder, Bob Mohr.

Mohr Partners, which operates 18 offices in North America and three international alliances, delivers exclusive corporate tenant representation and portfolio management services in more than 70 countries. It completes roughly 1,600 transactions annually involving occupier clients, including private and public institutions.

Mohr will remain with the company as chairman emeritus, under a long-term agreement to help serve existing and prospective global service clients. He retains sole ownership of Mohr Capital.
