Rudin Steps Down as Mack-Cali Vice Chairman

Mack-Cali Realty Corporation said Vice Chairman Mitchell Rudin (pictured) had departed the company to pursue other opportunities. Rudin came aboard at the Jersey City-based office and multifamily REIT as CEO in June 2015, serving in that capacity until he was named vice chairman in April 2017.

Before joining Mack-Cali, Rudin served as president and CEO of U.S. commercial operations at Brookfield Office Properties from 2011 to June 2014. Prior to that, he held a number of senior positions at CBRE, including president and CEO of the New York tri-state region.

“All of us here at Mack-Cali would like to thank Mitch for his hard work and contributions to the strategic repositioning of Mack-Cali,” said Michael J. DeMarco, Rudin’s successor as Mack-Cali CEO. “Our success to date has been a team effort, in which he played an integral part. I wish him all the best in his future endeavors.”
