When the Super Bowl comes to town in February, visitors can expect to pay more at San Francisco’s luxury hotels. A lot more.
Room rates are projected to increase by 400 percent. Meanwhile Marriott, Hilton and IHG hotels are not even accepting reservations for the game, which takes place on the weekend of Feb. 7.
Four night at the Marquis Marquee during the event an run just more than $10,000 for the game. It’s even pricey by the San Francisco Airport. Four Points by Sheraton SFO will charge nearly $1,200 near the airport.
