Sares Regis Breaks Ground on Cadence in South San Francisco

San Mateo-based Sares Regis Group of Northern California (SRGNC) broke ground on Cadence, a luxury apartment community in South San Francisco. Representatives from the development team, along with South San Francisco city officials, including Mayor Pradeep Gupta, gathered to commemorate the construction milestone this week.

SRGNC’s Ken Busch says, “We believe this new community will encourage more pedestrian traffic in the area that will benefit local businesses. Cadence will be an important first step to revitalizing downtown South San Francisco.”

Located on just under two acres spanning two blocks, the 225,000-square-foot project will consist of 260 high-quality apartments across five stories, and over two levels of parking. Cadence offers residents a rooftop lounge, fitness center, club rooms and landscaped courtyards.

Scheduled for occupancy in Fall 2018, Cadence is designed to be LEED Certified Silver. The project was designed by Thomas Cox of TCA Architects.
