Scopely signed a 60,000-square-foot office lease at Runyon Group’s Platform in Culver City, CA. The interactive entertainment and mobile games company is collaboratively working with Runyon to build out an under-construction space at 8888 Washington Blvd. to suit its expanding needs. It will be relocating from 28,000 square feet in the nearby Hayden Tract area.
Platform, which first opened in 2016, is expanding just west of its 130,000 square-foot mixed-use creative, office, retail and restaurant space.
CBRE’s Jacob Bobek represented the tenant. The landlord was self-represented by Runyon Group’s Joseph Miller and David Fishbein.
Bobek says, “The Platform expansion will be a state-of-the-art building that will serve as a fantastic new headquarters for rapidly-expanding Scopely, and will allow them to continue to grow the business and team.”
Scopely, which recently launched two new games, Star Trek Fleet Command and Looney Tunes World of Mayhem, will take occupancy in late 2020.
