SFMOMA’s $300M Expansion Going As Planned

The San Francisco Modern Museum of Art has a new $300 million wing opening in May.

SFMOMA has been closed for three years while work has taken place. The new addition will total 235,000 square feet and 10 stories. It’s an addition to the current 235,000 square feet that the museum currently occupies.

There was $305 million raised for the construction project, and another $245 million for the museum’s operations.
