Shamballa Jewels signed a lease for their first first store in the U.S. It’s a 2,000-square-foot space in Manhattan’s SoHo neighborhood.
“We are thrilled to have them as our retail anchor tenant for the 170 Mercer St. property and to have the Shamballa brand rounding out our retail portfolio occupancy,” said Michael Shah, principal and CEO of property-owner Delshah Capital. The lease brings Delshah’s retail portfolio to 100% occupancy.
The 10-year lease is for $367,500 per year. Thor Equities represented the landlord, and CBRE represented the tenant in the transaction. Shamballa has stores in Europe, Asia and South America, and has celebrity fans including Jay Z, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Diane von Furstenberg.
