New York City-based Skanska unveiled updated designs for The Eight, a planned mixed-use office tower in downtown Bellevue. The site at the NE 8th St. and 108th Ave. NE is envisioned for a 25-story tower with 540,000 square feet of office space.

The development also includes 12,000 square feet of ground floor retail, a 1,200 square-foot retail pavilion and 7,000 square feet of open public space. The ground floor will feature a 6,000-square-foot open living room space. The building will have an HVAC system and touchless controls aligned with tenant interests as they return to workplaces from COVID-19 restrictions. Building amenities include a tenant event floor, a Health and Wellness Center with an outdoor patio, and an outdoor tenant deck.

The leasing assignment for the office space is being handled by CBRE’s Scotta Ashcraft, Tim Owens, and Lennon Atteberry. NKF’s Anne Marie Koehler and Erika Koehler are handling the retail assignment.
