SL Green Realty Corp. said Monday that co-CIO Isaac Zion will leave the company effective July 31 to pursue new professional interests. Following Zion’s departure, the day-to-day operations of the REIT’s investments team will continue to be led by CIO David Schonbraun, along with managing directors Brett Herschenfeld and Robert Schiffer.

Zion joined SL Green in January 2007 as a managing director and as co-head of the investments group, along with having overall responsibility for the company’s suburban division/portfolio.

“For more than a decade, Isaac has done an exemplary job co-leading the Investments team,” said SL Green president Andrew Mathias. “We thank him for all of his accomplishments here and his tireless efforts at adding value across the entirety of our platform. Marc and I, and all of us at SL Green, wish him nothing but the best as he embarks on his next endeavors.”
