Solar Fintech Firm Moves to Uptown Oakland

Solar Mosaic signed a long-term lease for nearly 30,000 square feet at 300 Lakeside Drive, a 28-story tower in Oakland, CA. The property is part of the 7.2-acre Kaiser Center complex, next to Lake Merritt in Oakland’s popular Uptown neighborhood.

Solar Mosaic plans move to the building owned by The Swig Company from its current location in downtown Oakland in September 2017.

Solar Mosaic, a residential solar platform, is the latest in a stream of new tenants to the more than 910,000-square-foot building that is now 97% occupied. Recent leasing activity includes AECOM, which took 100,000 square feet of space.

CM Commercial Real Estate’s Matt Currie and Robert Tasker represented the tenant, while Cushman & Wakefield’s Ryan Hattersley advised the landlord.
