Lendlease, along with co-developer The John Buck Company (TJBC) and partner Intercontinental Real Estate Corporation, revealed the name and branding of the team’s two-tower mixed-use development under construction at 855 W. Madison St. in the West Loop. Now officially known as The Venn, the property is scheduled to deliver in late spring 2020.

The project will offer “an intimate lifestyle with a variety of housing choices and modern amenities,” said Ted Weldon, executive general manager for Lendlease Development in Chicago.

“We chose the name The Venn because this development is deeply rooted in connectivity,” said Ariana Rasansky, TJBC’s VP of marketing and operations. “It’s made up of two buildings with a shared amenity space, and we were drawn to the idea of providing each building with its own personality, but with overlapping communities and a shared story.”

The Venn will feature 586 residences, including 13 rental townhomes with private entrances.
