St. Louis Cardinals, Cordish Top Out Tower at $260M Ballpark Village Expansion

The St. Louis Cardinals and The Cordish Companies celebrated a construction milestone of the $260-million expansion of Ballpark Village in St. Louis, with a ceremony to commemorate the topping out of The PwC Pennant Building. The Class A office tower will be anchored by PwC, and is set to open this summer as the first new construction office building in downtown St. Louis in more than a generation.

The 11-story tower is part of a plan to transform a 10-acre site into a vibrant 24/7 neighborhood. The 120,000-square-foot building is located at the corner of Walnut and 8th Streets, anchoring the west end of Cardinal Way.

PwC will feature street level retail, modern office amenities, as well as a private rooftop deck with views of Busch Stadium, downtown St. Louis and the Gateway Arch. The tower is part of a 700,000-square-foot second phase of development featuring a mix of uses including office, retail, residential and hotel.
