Stockbridge Snags Industrial Project in Charleston for $36M

Private equity real estate investment management firm Stockbridge has acquired a newly-delivered 313,650-square-foot distribution and light assembly facility in Charleston for $35.5 million. The facility was build-to-suit for defense contractor Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC).

Located at 7413 Magi Rd., the facility is in Hanahan, a northern suburb of Charleston. The facility is also situated within North Pointe Commerce Park, a master-planned industrial park strategically positioned to house defense, manufacturing and logistics-oriented tenants.

Patrick Nally, Chris Norvell and Mike Massardo of HFF represented the seller, a joint venture between North Signal Capital and a fund managed by Westport Capital Partners LLC, in the transaction. The deal was secured by HFF, prior to being acquired by JLL.
