Stream Data Centers, a subsidiary of Stream Realty Partners, will be expanding its San Antonio-based data center in Westover Hills. The $5 million expansion is expected to launch in November 2018 and conclude in May 2019. Corgan is the designer of record.
The Dallas-based data center owner opened its co-location facility at 9550 Westover Hills Blvd. in 2014. The center, dubbed San Antonio II, is currently 75,840 square feet. Plans call for an additional data hall, which will include three suites that will each offer 10,000 square feet for computer servers.
The facility offers disaster recovery space, backed by 2N generators, and is designed to withstand 185-mph winds and uplift, according to the company’s website.
