Sudberry Properties Adds Two Senior Executives

San Diego-based Sudberry Properties expanded its leadership team with the addition of two senior executives. William Mayer (pictured above left) was appointed COO and chief legal officer, while John Bogucki was appointed CFO.

Mayer will be responsible for day-to-day operations of the firm, which has developed roughly 10 million square feet of urban retail, multifamily, mixed-use and town centers, including the urban village of Civita. He will also be responsible for providing support for acquisitions and development, and managing all legal issues. Mayer spent more than 14 years at D.R. Horton, where he was VP and general counsel for the West Region.

Bogucki will be responsible for the finance, accounting, and administration departments. He also manages all financial aspects of the firm’s real estate holdings and acquisitions. He previously held positions with several West Coast real estate developers, including California Traditions of San Diego and Silverstar Communities of Reno.
