Summit Midstream Partners announced plans to relocate its corporate headquarters to One Shell Plaza in downtown Houston, from its current location in The Woodlands, TX. The 50,000-square-foot headquarters will be on the 41st and 42nd floors; the energy infrastructure developer, owner and operator will move to 910 Louisiana St. in early March 2020. The landlord is Busycon Properties LLC.
The purpose of the relocation is to consolidate both local employees and those who work in the Atlanta, GA office, where the company was founded. The Atlanta office is where Summit’s finance and accounting functions are located.
“Our new office location provides ample space to accommodate our current and future office needs, while broadening our access to a deep pool of experienced energy professionals,” said Summit Midstream’s Heath Deneke. “In addition to the cultural and organizational effectiveness gains, the move will also provide an immediate and significant source of cost savings for SMLP going forward.”
Connect Houston will take place Feb. 4 in Houston. For more information, or to register, click here.
