SurveyMonkey Heading to San Mateo

SurveyMonkey, the world’s leading online survey provider, is moving from Palo Alto to San Mateo.

The company reportedly leased 200,000 square feet at Bay Meadows Station, a 763,000-square-foot office property under development by Bay Meadows Land Company and Stockbridge Real Estate Funds. DTZ was the broker in the deal, which was quarterbacked by David Hiebert, managing principal and Colin Feichtmeir, senior managing director.

SurveyMonkey expects to move into its new headquarters in 2017, and might sublet some of it. The company currently leases 59,000 square feet in Downtown Palo Alto.
