Sustainables Company Relocating to Huntington Beach

Newlight Technologies signed a 41,400-square-foot, full-building lease to relocate from Costa Mesa, CA to Burke Real Estate Group’s industrial facility in Huntington Beach, CA. The 8-year deal carries a NNN starting lease rate of $.91 per-square-foot for a corporate headquarters and R&D space.

The building is at 14382 Astronautics Lane, and has 7,111 square feet of office/research and development space.

Newlight Technologies converts greenhouse gas into thermoplastics, using a carbon capture technology that combines air with methane-based greenhouse gas emissions to produce a plastic material called AirCarbon.

The tenant was represented by Kevin Mitchell, who was with Cresa, but has since moved over to Savills Studley. Lee & Associates-Newport Beach’s Bob Goodmanson and Brad Schneider represented the landlord.
