T-Mobile Snags Space & Naming Rights for Greenway Building

T-Mobile inked a deal for close to 30,000 square feet at the former River Oaks Tower in Houston’s Greenway submarket. The mobile carrier also walked away from the deal with Medistar Corp. securing naming rights for the building at 4126 Southwest Fwy. T-Mobile will relocate from 2 Greenway Plaza to occupy three and a half floors of the building, which will be called T-Mobile Tower.

Doug Pack and Sam Hansen with Avison Young negotiated on behalf of Medistar Corp. Tami Pearson and Lindsay Pearson with Waterman Steele Real Estate Advisors were the tenant representatives.

The lease brings the 17-story, 139,831-square-foot office building to 75% occupancy. According to an Avison Young spokesperson, the Class B building was once geared toward medical office tenants. It has, however, completed several non-medical leases as well.
